why do I always gag when i'm brushing my teeth?

its something i cant control, and sometimes vomit comes up and stings my throat, its horrible.

  • Maybe your pregnant Unless this has always happened to you. If it has always happened you may just have a weak gag reflex but If it recently just started happening it may be that you are pregnant I know Because It happened to me

  • I agree with the pregnant post too. I gagged terribly when pregnant, not otherwise. or maybe you just have a hyper gag reflex. try different water temperatures when brushing, and kids fruit flavored toothpaste. good luck.

  • some people have a very sensitive gag reflex. Also, you may be having a reastion to the toothpaste you are using.
