Why can't I sleep?

I went to the Dr today and that was no help either. I've tried benadryl and motrin pm.

  • Have you tried journaling your ideas and feelings? Sometimes it helps me to put things to "rest" by writing them down. Then they are sort of put away until another time. A friend of mine swears by "sleepytime" tea

  • stress. Do stuff to destress you before bed, tea, bath, relaxing music etc.

  • Are you particularly stressed or feeling guilty about something? Do you have a lot on your mind? Are you worrying about something? Those are the most common reasons for not being able to sleep. Maybe try relaxing by turning off the TV and reading a book in bed, after having some chamomile tea?  If you still can't relax, try some Motrin PM! :o)

  • Melatonin, totally natural. Make sure to try not to eat or drink too many sweets before bed.
