TEACCH vs ABA

Which of the two methods of instruction is better for an autistic child?

  • I think a combination approach works best. No one method of teaching is going to work best for every child. I live in NC, so TEACCH is pushed really hard, but most of the teachers who have been around a while have developed their own style that pulls from several different instructional methods.

  • ABA is costly.
    Teacch is cost efficient.
