  • in my experience foster to adopt is free
    call your local child protective services and ask about foster to adopt programs
    it was the best thing i have ever done!!

  • Without a doubt! I would love to adopt anyway, but the cost definitely seems to be the biggest hurdle in ever getting there.

  • Chiana: Foster to adopting is free. You even get money for adopting. When I was in foster care my FM adopted us after five years of living with her. She got 2,000 pre child, she adopted three ( all my siblings) I think the reason why she got paid was my dad gave up his Parental rights.... Just call your local foster care. I would love to have foster children but my house is too smalll, so when we have a bigger home we will

  • I might adopt or foster a pregnant teen and help her keep her baby if there was no other way for her to raise it. I can get pregnant but I think helping a mother keep her baby would be something I'd prefer to do then take her baby or child away. Yes sometimes it's necessary but that is how I feel.

  • I would love to adopt an older foster child, but no way will DH go for it after we got so screwed over trying to adopt my cousin.
