What Goes Good w/ Steak?

we're having out-of-town friends for guests this weekend & my DH wants to grill up steaks. only problem is i cant think of any good sides to go w/ it! we will be eating outside (if the weather permits) and it will be a very laid back dinner. DH said some kinda veggie and a starch, but most starches are too heavy & hot for summer.

what would you serve?

  • Oh man that sounds sooooo good. I like to make steak with grilled onions and mushrooms, grilled zuchinni and squash, and grilled garlic bread(I take a loaf of french bread, cut it in half, slather it with butter, minced garlic and parsley). Corn on the cob is really good with steak too, oh and fresh green beans and new potatoes with butter and seasonings. Sorry I'm pregnant and hungry lmao. ;)
