If you needed $2000 in a week....

And you had to raise as much of that as possible how would you go about doing it?

BTW I'm not talking charity or life/death situations, just $2000 in general.

  • Sell everything...I have an extra car, laptops, game systems, tvs, and what not, give plasma, and thats about all I can think of.

  • Write a check? I guess it depends on what the $2000 is for because if it isn't life/death it must not be necessary.

  • I would probably just borrow it from a relative. If not, I would talk to my bank or other loan place. I can pay that back pretty quickly.

  • I'd be calling mom & dad!

I am blessed to be a part of a family where loans like this are always given, and cheerfully. Every one of us has had a chance to help out another over the years :o)

  • We would probablly borrow from MIL. or charge on the credit card. Possibly start selling things too.

  • Take out a loan. I'd rather owe money to a bank than owe it to family.

  • I've never borrowed money in my life... never had anyone I could go to. I'd ebay like crazy and pick up some extra work online doing odd jobs. That's what I usually do that works for me if I need a bit extra (for that past 12 yrs).
