Is this the Change you believe in??~ Obama's words vs. Obama's actions

“a plan that’s focused on making our middle class more secure and our country more competitive in the long run — so that the jobs and industries of the future aren’t all going to China and India, but are being created right here in the United States of America.”~Barack Hussein Obama 2010

But then the actions of his administration show differently...

~Despite President Obama’s pledge to retain more hi-tech jobs in the U.S., a federal agency run by a hand-picked Obama appointee has launched a $22 million program to train workers, including 3,000 specialists in IT and related functions, in South Asia.
Following their training, the tech workers will be placed with outsourcing vendors in the region that provide offshore IT and business services to American companies looking to take advantage of the Asian subcontinent’s low labor costs.~Information Week

  • While Obama acknowledged that occupations such as garment making don’t add much value to the U.S. economy, he argued relentlessly during his presidential run that lawmakers needed to do more to keep hi-tech jobs in IT, biological sciences, and green energy in the country.

  • IT is not a high technical job
    He means SCIENCE--chemistry, biology, physics

IT is simply the people who you get annoyed with when you have trouble installing software

Ahhhhh, Domonique.. So any of those displaced GM workers who went to school and received IT associate degrees (I know of 7 just in one town) at the local community college when their plants shut down are meaningless to the US economy??  But hey that 22 million means something to Asia?? Let the US working class eat Cake....Got it.... In the Big Picture only those who have accelerated degrees amount to anything in the eyes of the Obama administration????

With the US unemployment rate where it is~Why should 22 million US taxpayer borrowed money with accumulating interest be used to train Asians?

Which adds to growing opinion of Americans (see polls)~ Obama is no better than any President before him.... One could argue, thus far (with his mounting spending/debt) he is worse.
