  • When I stopped living to please other people I realized that I was content with myself. Also having a husband that finds me sexy no matter how bad I may think I look at times helps :-)

  • When I held my son for the first time. I had doubted in the past if I was doing enough with my life, if I would truly be capable of loving a child as much as is needed, among lots of other things. I knew instantly and realize more each day that I'm doing precisely what I should be doing at this point in my life, and that I AM good enough to be his mom. He has taught me so much about myself. He's taught me how not to be selfish, how to have patience, how to really devote my life to something. I am amazed at how someone so small has been able to make me realize things about myself that I haven't been able to figure out on my own given 25 years. When I say that my son has been a "blessing", there is so much behind that word.
