  • the chicken :) there was just a lil ol hen and a rooster :) they made a baby egg.

  • A recent scientific study found that the chicken came first. Every egg needs to be fertilized to become a viable embryo. This means there must have been a daddy chicken (rooster) and a mommy chicken first.

  • The egg. What laid the egg wasn't quite a chicken yet. The gene mutation that happened in utero created what we know as chicken.
