Are you a pessimist or an optimist?

I often wonder what makes a person a pessimist, I wake up every morning with a choice to be either or, why not choose that half full glass when the alternative is a depressing thought?

  • Usually you think the worst, then when the worst doesn't happen it's better!

  • Sadly, a pessimist, but I try to be optimistic. It really is a choice. I've been more optimistic than my better half lately, so maybe I'm making progress. haha

  • I tried that 'today is going to be a good day' stuff, but there are just some days the truth of the matter wins. I try a middle of the road approach. "ITS GONNA BE AN OK DAY!"

  • I try to be optimistic most of the time because the energy flow will turn out positive if you think that way. I've read that stress and negativity can actually lead to health problems over time.

  • I know it's a choice. Sometimes it just seems like everything goes the wrong way. We've dealt with a lot over the years and it's exhausting. I know it's better to think positively. I usually feel better about myself when I do, but when it's piling up (like it seems it always does), it gets harder to see that silver lining.

  • I am a realist. Some say the glass is half full... some say the glass is half empty.... I say the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
