Cake decorating.

Has anyone taken cake decorating classes? If so, did you like? Is it a decent price for the class? Please tell me anything else.

About a year ago I got into making my own cakes from scratch and decorating. I'm not that good and would love to get better. Thanks.

  • I actually taught myself. You can take Wilton classes just about anywhere. JoAnns, Michaels, local community centers, community colleges.

  • If you qualify for college, they have classes at SOME community or technical colleges. Especially if you have children, your financial aid would probably cover them AND they are usually at night or on the weekends. At least here in San Antonio. LOL.

Oh or a local grocery store might have classes they offer. I know here one of the grocery stores (called HEB) offers classes every now and then. I think they are about $40 a class.

    Good luck!
