  • Not at all ... but my system is not normal so the docs had a hard time ... my daughter was better than a month early, but turned out to be full term.

  • 2 days after the EDD. So, yes. If they come between 38 and 42 weeks, they are on time.

  • With my first DD they told me Nov 8 but I knew the exact date I got pregnant and figured up Nov 11 and had her on the 10th.
With my 2nd they induced me a week before I was due.

  • They say an estimated due date can be up to two weeks off, either more or less. So technically my EDD was accurate; my first was due October 1, 2004 and was born by emergency c-section on October 7th. My second child's due date was February 3, 2006 but she was delivered as a planned c-section on January 26th (on her father's 26th birthday).

  • No, mine was not. I was induced 17 days after my EDD.

However my best friend didn't know she was pregnant until she was 6 months and had her EDD determined by u/s measurements at that point, and she gave birth on her exact due date, no induction or anything.

  • No. My children were all born well after their expected due dates. But I waited, went into labor naturally, and had them pretty easily. Each one slept all night by 3 weeks of age.
