we adopted an abandoned lab mix puppy. he, his mom, and sisters were dropped off at a closed harley shop. the people who rescued him took him to the vet, where he was deemed healthy and has recieved his first 2 sets of shots. however, he was absolutely covered in fleas and ticks. he was treated and doesnt have any anymore, but his skin is so dry and bumpy and he is missing patches of hair from where they were infested on him. we are giving him oatmeal baths and spraying a dog hydrocortisone spray on him, but it doesnt seem to be working. he doesnt go back to the vet til the 17th. any ideas?Answer Question

Hi - your vet is doing the usual care that he/she can offer - natural supplements can be the answer for this little one. Also, a good oil added to his food each day.
Pure Salmon oil ( one teaspoon ) will be a great addition for his skin and coat.
Next, Please get this baby onto Some NuVET Plus pet tabs - here is the link - not sold in stores - sold thru breeders, and holistic vet offices
