Need ideas for party food!

I have a family party this weekend. Looking for some good appetizer/finger food ideas. Want to prepare ahead of time and keep in my cooler. It can be reheated if necessary - but basically ready to go. I'm just not feeling super creative - help :) please and thanks a bunch!

  • 7 layer mexican dip. My mom makes this cheese dip with velveta, cream cheese, spinach, bacon and rotel (its amazing!) and instead of dipping chips in it, dip with rye bread. Tortillas with cream cheese, taco seasoning, veggies, black olives ( make like a quesedilla). Lil smokeys. Pigs in a blanket. Fruit/veggie tray.

  • Cream cheese with pepper jam on top served with whole grain crackers (I like Kashi 7 grain). If you want something a little more sweet than sassy, use raspberry preserves (smuckers is good) on top of the cheese.

  • Tortilla Roll-Ups

    1 large packet flour tortillas
1 (7 oz.) can diced green chilies
1 (4 oz.) can chopped olives
1 (8 oz.) packet cream cheese
    2 packets wafer-thin ham slices

In a blender, blend together the cream cheese, olives and chilies until they have mixed thoroughly. Place the tortillas in a large plate and spread the blended mixture over them. Then, place the ham slices on them, roll them up, slice and hold them in place using a toothpick and serve.

  • I make tortilla roll ups too but I use mild green chiles, green onions and shredded cheddar cheese, they're always a big hit

    Several whole dill pickles
    Cream cheese, softened
Ham slices, thin (deli type works good)
Spread soft cream cheese on thin ham slices. Roll around dill pickles. Use sharp knife; cut in slices. Use toothpick to hold. Also American cheese slices can be used at room temperature.
