  • Here is a website devoted to container gardening. It is a lot of fun, but you have to water frequently. I water my containers daily when itis hot.

  • Yep get you some containers and start planting. I have a padio garden thing from walmart. You can hang tomatoes or strawerries in the bottom and on top it has a place for flowers or other veggies to grow. :)

  • You can do quite a lot with containers. My SIL lives on the 25th floor of her building, with a small balcony and grows quite a bit. She usually has basil, tomatoes, some flowers, peppers.

  • Yeppers, you can do tomatoes and peppers that hang.... a trellis of flowers like clematis or morning glories for privacy...multi size containers of everything under the sun. I think sometimes you can do more with containers.... Herb Containers, Salad Mixin Containers, etc... Just remember to WATER them.... A LOT!

  • Yes! I have plenty of room for a regular garden but if I plant in the ground all the animals eat my veggies. So, I have a deck off my kitchen with plenty of sun & I have Tomato, Basil, Anise, eggplants & peppers in Pots. They do great and I never have a bug problem either. Use Miracle Grow Potting Soil for Veggies & Miracle Grow fertilizer liquid mix every month or so. Good Luck! Add Flowers in pots too!

  • I do! I have room for a garden, but I hate weeding :) I grow tomatoes, pole beans (green beans), and squash. I've also grown strawberries in the past. I grow herbs in my kitchen (I like to have them year-round.) I prefer growing in containers, it's less work than a traditional garden, and I can easily put nets over the pots to keep the birds away.

  • All you need are some buckets & dirt. I once had a strawberry patch in a plastic kiddie pool.
