Birthday party help...

My big girl is turning 5 this year and we are throwing her a Fancy Nancy tea party. I have lots of ideas and most of the party planned but one thing I cannot figure out is the music. I know there is the Disney Princess CD but I really didn't want to veer off to the Princess. So my question is, what type of music or cd should I play at a fancy tea party???

  • I agree, I would play some classical music. There's a lot of very light, whimsical classic music out there. Such as pretty much any song from the Nutcracker Suite (yes, it's Christmas-y music, but still would work here) Flight of the Bumblebee The Magic Flute Dance of the Swans from Swan Lake Minuet Just to name a few. In fact, here's a site where you can hear a sample of some of these songs :-)

btw - Happy birthday to your little one :-)

  • Thanks ladies... I was thinking classical but wasn't sure. I love the nutcracker idea! Thank you!
