Are you selective about the bread you buy?

I usually like to buy Arnold Bread because it just tastes better. When it's not on sale I buy the store brand but the taste is not the same.

  • Surely am. But not based on brand, based on ingredients. I won't feed my family garbage... if it's not on sale, I make my own.

  • I make most of our bread, but when it is too hot to bake I am always careful to check the labels for fiber content. Many 'whole grain' breads are no better than white bread when it comes to fiber. I like my breads to have 3 grams or more of fiber per serving.

  • I bake my own. My hubby likes that 12 grain stuff that costs $3.89 a loaf... NOT on my budget, so I make him fresh Italian bread...
