Does your home have an elevator?

If yes, do you use it for more than just moving furniture? If yes, how often do you use it?

  • I know someone who has an elevator in his house. He paid something like $10k to have it installed. He needed it for his son who is in a wheelchair (it's a 2 story house & the rooms are upstairs)

  • I have to wonder, really how many average homes have elevators. You would have to have a pretty large house to justify that.

  • Aside from living in an apartment building or loft building with a freight elevator, I think those who have elevators in their single family homes have "people" who do all the heavy lifting for them!! LOL :O)
