what is the best machine to use for wieght loss if ...

you have a nerve condition on your foot? i have a nerve problem . it doesn't hurt. i only feel electrical shocks on occasion and some swelling.. i need to lose some weight but don't want to further aggrevate my foot which also is having an achiles tendon soreness issue. any recommendations would be helpful

  • do you mean cardio or strength training? Both are important for weight loss! Can you use an elliptical for cardio? Or get fitted for running shoes based on your foot issues and hit the treadmill? You can do almost any kind of strength training that does not involve your feet!

  • Swimming would be your best bet. But as far as exercise equipment goes, possibly a bike.

  • Try workouts where you sit or lay down till you feet is able to handle a pressure...and swimming will help 2...

  • very useful answers thanks girl. i think i really do need to get fitted for some shoes. I just moved out of the US so i'll have to see what i can locate here . and yes i suppose i can do excersises that don't involve the feet. i'll look into it. thanks again. swimming would be fantastic.. something to think about
