how involved are the grandparents with the kids?

Just curious how involved other grandparents are with their grandkids? Are the inlaws more involved or less involved, what do they do special with your kids?

  • There is only one grandparent left and one great grandparent... My mother lives at the end of the block and is here more than we would like. We try to limit her time with the kids, but she just shows up... My grandmother lives about 6 blocks from us and we talk to her or see her at least a few times a week... She likes to take the kids for visits once or twice a week as well.
