What kind of baker are you?

Do you clean up as you go along and or do you wait till you've finished baking to start cleaning up? I usually clean up after I've finished putting the ingredients together and the mix whether it be for a cake, pie or brownie is in the oven. Some people like to clean up as they go along to have less to do afterwards.

  • It depends on my mood. If I'm in a crazy I-gotta-bake-it-NOW mood, I'll clean up after. If I'm in an organized baking mood, I'll clean as I go.

  • I'm one of those people, who prep and measure everything into little glass bowls. Wipe the counter, set the oven and I put soapy water in the sink. As I add my ingredients the bowls go in the sink. While you might think this is crazy, I only have about 2 ft of counter on either side of my sink to actually work on. :)

  • I clean as I go as well. Baking can be so messy, I just can't imagine leaving it to the end. Even when I clean as I go, there's still a mess to clean up at the end anyway!
