On March 17, 2009, Pope Benedict stood before a group of reporters and said that condom distribution not only wouldn’t cure the AIDS crisis, it actually makes it worse

  • human error is a pretty big problem. - handing out condoms without the information that goes with them/sex/sexuality is a big deal.

  • I think giving condoms would help many people. some people are broke or not resourceful or simply not educated about condoms and what they can protect

  • How could safe sex make the aids problem worse? I truly believe that everyone should have birth control readily available to them. Education and protection are the only ways to prevent std's and unwanted pregnancies.

  • How would condoms make the AIDS crisis worse?  Condoms stop the spread of AIDS.  The pope is completely irresponsible!
