  • stuff for sandwiches-and good stuff, slurge! try hoogie rolls and deli meats and cheeses, so you feel like yoou are getting an expensive sandwich from someplace...anything quick and easy because sometimes a hot meal is just hard to come by. also if you do by fruits and veggies, clean them and put them in containers so they are ready to eat when you want to grab them. again sometimes by the time you are done washing lets say, grapes, the baby is up and youhave to leave them. good luck mom!

  • pantry foods! box things that are easy to make and don't require many ingredients.

pasta & some jars of ragu
    canned soups

those marrie calandar pasta things from the soup section.

    just think EASY!

some fresh fruit is a good idea too. it's a nice healthy, sweet snack.

  • I only put things down for the baby. Sorry about that! You may want to create some planned ahead meals since the baby is going to monopolize most of your time.

  • If you are going to breastfeed, easy snacks to eat while you're nursing. Cheese and crackers, fruit. Also some snacks for Dad during delivery and you for your hospital stay. A reusable water bottle to keep near where you are going to nurse. If you normally use tampons, you'll need pads for your postpartum bleeding.

  • Simple, wholesome foods. To the above suggestions, I would add breastpads, vinegar and baking soda for soaking dirty diapers; lots of baby washcloths to use as wipes; olive oil for cradle cap
