What kind of ham do you cook most often?

I like the spiral hams which I see on sale during various holidays. However, the pork shoulder is really good for soup making once you've taken all you can off the bone for sandwiches and other eating. I've used the pork shoulder for split pea soup mostly.

  • I don't cook them, but usually my mom gets a Heavenly Ham for our Thanksgiving and Christmas family meals. They are really good! We don't each much ham aside from the holidays.

  • I put a real ham in the crock pot and pour one can of coca cola in with it. Turn it on low and let it cook for 10 hours. The best tasting ham you will ever eat!!!
