Do you watch your cholesterol?

I heard that certain foods are supposed to be eaten sparingly, like bacon. You shouldn't eat it more than once or twice a week since of the fat content in it. Also, that includes not eating more than 3 eggs a week.

  • I'm very lucky...........I eat total crap, and just had my cholesterol checked last week and it is 160.

  • there is a book called the cholesterol myth, it is a quick read and worth the time!
    we do not avoid fat in our house. we eat about 6 dozen eggs a week around here too! bacon we usually have once a week, but we get all natural bacon without the chemicals.
    it is important to eat good fats, from fish, nuts olive oil and avocados are great sources!

  • We don't eat any meat and very little dairy. We eat lots of whole grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables. A few eggs.
