Cord Blood Banking...

Does anyone know how much it costs to have cord blood stored?

  • We been banking with Viacord since 2002. THEN it was a new concept and I believe it cost $1000 for the initial collection for my 1st son, and when my second came along in 2003 it was $1200. Then we pay roughly $95 per year for storage. I think at the time the frost 3 years storage was free.

    They also offer discounts when you pay for multiple year storage. We pay in 5 year increments.

  • I am not sure what the banking cost is but I believe the upkeep is between 100-150 per year.
