  • I started hunting a couple years ago. I wish we could buy all organic food but it's very spendy. I don't appreciate mass production of animals in inhumane places...(not an activist though, don't worry) so I figure these animals have seen the light of day. Lived a great life. And my family needs organic food. So I do hunt. For food. A nice rack on the deer would be nice too. A bigger bear just means more meat for me. But if I got a record hunt, I would love free stuff like a new rifle though;)

  • I HAVE hunted for food, but I don't believe in hunting for sport. I would never injure or kill something if I wasn't going to use the body in every way I could.

  • I hunt..and I eat what I kill. I may wait longer to see if I can find a bigger buck..but thats just me.

  • Personally, no, but DH does, for both - he does it because he enjoys it, but everything he kills we eat (he only hunts pheasant & deer, only licensed, only in season).
