Can I mail chocolate chip cookies?

My dad's having a birthday soon- and I want to mail some cookies. Wonder if they'll melt tho?

  • I sent chocolate chip cookies to my brother-in-law in Iraq and they arrived fine. I wrapped two cookies together in plastic wrap and them put them all together in a ziploc bag between bubble wrap in a box.

  • Yes,but I'd overnight them. They sell icepacks for this very purpose

  • Yes. I mail them to my dad. I buy those cheap plastic containers (like store brand) and fill one or two of those up and then send it Priority Mail beginning of the week (you don't want them to sit an extra day over the weekend!). Gets there in 2 days.

  • I put my cookies in a ziploc bag and mailed them in a flat rate box. As far as I know, they arrived perfect.

  • Sure. You can always buy some dry ice and pack them in that. That keeps for a few days if packaged right.

  • Freeze them and then overnight them. I like the idea of packing in the Pringles can.
