  • Totally normal. Kids progress at different speeds. My oldest daughter was sitting up by 3 months my twins were 5 1/2 months, and my ss is 6 months and hasn't even started trying to yet.

  • Yes, our dd has been rolling around and crawling for a little while but just now at 7 months has started sitting up on her own. From what I remember all 4 of our others were about the same age when they started sitting unassisted.

  • She will sit up when she is ready. Don't compare her to other babies because all babies are different.

  • Mine will be 10 months, and outright refuses to sit up unless she is in her highchair. She loves to crawl though.
