I'm embrassed to ask this but im 30 y/o and been wearing depend diaper briefs for over a year, my ? is for anyone who wears diapers the brief type what the best way to put them on without tearing the tape? I've tried laying down, standing up, back towards wall, size not problem i wear the biggest they have. I'm at my witts end with wearing them have no other choice, i know when kids were in diapers was always they were laying down, i hope wont be bashed or anything for needing them have no choice, if makes a difference i wear the depend type, ty for any help if anyone can provide

  • Not sure but this is why my sister and I wear the pads and not the entire diaper.

  • In nursing homes- they use cloth diapers with snaps then insert a pad in there to help with leaks. I have done in-home care, and if the person can bear weight at all then the depends are the best bet. They can be changed standing or laying by rolling from side to side. As for tearing them- just taking your time and having the right size will stop that from occuring. Hope this helps!

  • I don't have an answer to the better adult diaper issue but are you also pursuing remedying the situation? I have an incontinence problem as well and my Ob/Gyn tells me I'll need a bladder/rectum lift in the future (this was due to pushing during child birth.
