  • I don't think you are allowed to give OTC's anymore.

How long has your little one been coughing?

Is it a productive cough or making a barking like sound?

If you have a cool mist humidifier you could try that for the babies room as well as taking him or her into the bathroom with the shower running. I guess the steam is supposed to help break up or loosen the congestion. Wish I could be more helpful and hope you little one feels better soon.

  • I agree the cool mist humidifier is good. You can't supress a cough in an infant. It's good for them to a point. If you feel it's excessive call your doctor.
