Are there any dogs that don't shed?

  • Just remember if you look into a labradoodle (or other mix). They can take after either parent so it could shed like a lab or be minimum shedding/low dander like a poodle. I think Bichon Fris is another that can be good for allergies.

  • well, there is no such thing as a dog that NEVER sheds
    some that shed very little are:
    Miniature Schnauzer
    Scottish Terrier

  • poodles ... they have hair not fur
    but you still need to groom it

  • Yes. We have a Coton de Tulear. He doesn't shed at all. Very hypo-allergenic, small with long white hair. A cutie pie. I know there are a lot of other non-shedding breeds. Google it.

  • Poodle, I believe Yorkshire Terrier - we have two and there seems to be very little shedding.
