Can you tell how far along you are by yoour HCG levels?

mine yesterday was 510.

  • Not well... You can get a general idea but there is such a wide range per week that the level I had at 8 weeks you may have at 10 or 6 weeks. The two things that levels are monitored for is over 25 = pregnant and doubling levels (early on) = healthy pregnancy. After the placenta takes over completely your levels will plateau and then eventually drop. There also comes a point (after 8 weeks I believe) that your levels will take longer to double.

    Best way to figure out approximately how far along you are is to think hard about when your last LMP was.

    Also my HCG levels were over 2,000 at 6 weeks. The first test I had done at approx. 3w1d showed a level of 11. If I were to guess I would say you are most likely in your late 4th to somewhere in your 5th week.

  • I dont think so. I know toward the end of pregnancy they go down.
