  • At 2 weeks they check the incision for healing and signs of infection, check vital signs, ask if you're having any difficulty passing bowel or urine. Mine always made sure there was no sign of breast infection too. Lecture you about waiting to have sex and caution you that women are often most fetile in the first 6 months following childbirth. No vaginal exam unless you complain of a problem. Mine never did a post op vaginal after c-sections. there was no point.
