  • She went on her 3rd birthday. I wanted to take her sooner but since I didn't see any problems with her teeth and she wasn't complaining of pain, the dentists here wouldn't see her until age 3.

  • I was told by a friend would works at a dentists that you should start them at 2, but her dr. says 3. So I took her on her 3rd b-day as a b-day present. She was so excited!

  • My daughter turned 3 in July and I just scheduled her first dentist appt for tomorrow!

  • Two - I was told they changed the age for their first visit from 3 to 2 :o)

  • When they were 1. It's recommended that you take them within 6 months of them getting their first teeth.

  • I think 3 is fine unless you see a problem. You can call your local dentist to get their opinion though. You will get a wide range of opinions on here. Anywhere from when they get their first tooth to age 4. My personal opinion is 3 though.
