  • It's normal. I didn't feel anything for sure until I was 18 1/2 weeks but it's different for everyone. I am almost 28 weeks and I had to be put in the Labor and Delivery to monitor my BP and I didn't feel every movement that I heard on the monitor so even after you start to feel movements you might not feel every time the baby moves. Also, first time moms take longer to feel the baby or to be certain that's what they felt. Each pregnancy is different though. Once I realized what flutters were I recognized I had those earlier than 18 weeks but I didn't realize that until much further along. It's like I didn't know what to expect and I just thought it was my stomach growling or something. Soon enough you will feel the baby.

  • I started feeling movement around 16 weeks, but I am a naturally tiny woman (21 years old, 5-foot-one, 100 pounds) so it depends on your body. Everyone is different, but if you're worried, ask your doctor/midwife

  • Totally normal. I didn't feel my daughter until 20 weeks.

  • You will start feeling little "flutters " at around 20 weeks or so.

Right now, your baby weighs 3 to 9 ounces and is about 4-6 inches long...that's why you cannot feel anything just yet! :o)

  • Perfectly normal. Most women don't feel anything till around 20 weeks and normally that's only for the women who know what it feels like. First time moms normally take a little bit longer because they sometimes mistake the "flutter" for gas.
