  • If I'm camping on the beach then I go with the tent, but if it's in wild animal infested woods then I'd have to go with the RV for the extra protection. lol

  • Depends. Am I going camping to go camping? Or am I go on a trip and camping along the way? If I were going just to go camping, like a weekend trip to the woods, a tent. On a longer trip, an RV or travel trailer.

  • Well, we started with a tent, but as our son's neeeds evolved, so did our need for a better way to keep camping. After our tent we got a used pop-up style camper b/c it had a small refrigerator (needed for son's meds). Then, after we sold the pop-up, we bought a used hybrid travel trailer b/c we needed something that was self-contained with a/c. Now we're looking to get a bigger travel trailer, something with slide outs for the extra interior room it will give us.

  • RV, I'm really not an animal or bug type person while trying to sleep. I'd much rather be in a nice warm RV, or cool, I'll enjoy the out doors dutring the day.
