my almost 10 month old has decided that it's fun to bite mommy.

how can i teach him not to bite?

  • I am so getting bashed for this....but my mother and aunts told me to bite her back. I did, not hard, just enough to make pressure. She never bit again.

    It may not work for you but it did for me.

  • Try to anticipate, say no calmly, and redirect. Do not overreact. Make sure he is getting enough one on one time with, and loving from, you and DH. I think he is too young to punish. JMO

  • Biting back does work, but if you want to try something else you can tell your baby no firmly, make sure your expression conveys pain or anger and walk away. It will stop being fun if she sees that it hurts you and she gets no attention out of it.

  • i wish the biting back would of worked for my daughter when i did it to her she just laugh and tried to do it again
