how can i get my granddaughter to say peepee i iam just started potty training her this week working real hard

  • If she cannot tell you when she has pee peedd/has to pee pee then she is probably not ready

  • ..would also like to add that you can start telling her by pointing out "PEE PEE" when she gets a wet diaper. The pattern will catch on eventually

  • Or maybe you and her can come up with another 'code word' that means she has to pee until she learns to say peepee. All that matters is she knows when she has to go and she is able to tell you--someway.

  • Don't wait for her to say it. Always say, "Let's go pee-pee on the potty." and then, take her and have her try. Do this every 15-30 minutes until it's routine to her...then, up it by 15 minutes.
