Can anyone tell me the difference between a cold air and a hot air humidifier and what the best use for each is??

  • Cold air is good for allergies and use with babies. Warm air is more for keeping the air humid...and they get uncomfortable. Cold air humidifiers are always recommended for babies.

  • I didn't even know they made two kinds of humidifiers. All it is is steam so, I guess they work the same. The steam is always cold.
