Anyone in the Reserve?

Any branch either. I was just curious how many moms may be in the Reserves.

  • i was active duty, i am selective reserve..that is different than regular reserves. selective reserve is a 8 year obligation, when you first join you are automatically put in that..examples...someone does one tour of 4 years, they get out...they are out..and most likely will never be called back BUT selective reserves is 8 years obligation, so another 4 years after that 4 years they served, the military can legally call them back and they have to go.

as for the reserves your probably referring to, nope... i never seen a huge point in doing that. you dont get all of the benefits active duty gets and if im going to commit myself to the military as i did previously, i want all of the benefits
