I am throwing away all the junk food, and guess what snacks need to be healthier.

  • I *LOVE* fresh pineapple! for a snack or dessert. Cut up a pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, kiwi, etc... toss them in a bowl= easy fruit salad.
    Or you can never go wrong with almonds! lol!
    celery & peanut butter.
    Slice up a cucumber, I dip mine in ranch dressing. Or cherry tomatoes! Its impossible to eat too many of those. (in this house anyway) :)

  • Fresh veggies (with ranch dip), fresh fruit. Whole wheat/whole grain crackers with good cheese (not the individual slices) and a few bites of chicken or turkey. Smoothies (ours are nothing but fruit & veggies and a little 100% juice).

  • the other day i wanted a something sweet without alot of calories, so i made a smore minus the chocolate on low fat graham crackers.

  • My favorite is cut a banana in half, then put a Popsicle stick through the bottoms. Then you put peanut butter on the banana and crush up some cheerios ( I use whole grain) and smother the peanut butter with the cheerios freeze them and eat!! SOo yummy!!

  • celarry with peanut butter, frozen yogurt instead of ice scream, smothies or natural juice ( you making them) instead of soda.
