How can you tell the difference between Staph infections & regular boils/pimples/blisters?

  • staph infections don't heal quickly and spread VERY easily. A regular boil or pimple won't multiply, whereas staph infections will keep spreading. Take care of it quickly, especially if there's a chance it could be mrsa.

  • Sometimes staph has a black looking dot in the center. Also, if they ooze a clear liquid, its more likely staph. You would need to see your dr to be sure though.
