What age would you let your daughter arch her eyebrows?

My niece gets her eyebrows waxed and she is 11. I don't know when is a good age for my girls (10 & 12). I just don't want them to appear older than they are and I don't want them growing up too fast. I want them to be comfortable and i dont want other kids making fun of them cuz i know kids can be cruel sometimes.

  • For me it would depend on whether she needed it done or not. Some girls are "blessed" with some bushy brows, lol. I can understand wanting to fix that. Some girl mature faster than others and want that kind of stuff done.

  • Kids are mean sometimes; my daughter was allowed to shave her legs at the age of 12 for that reason, she was getting teased at school. She is now almost 14 and started shaping her eyebrows at around 12 1/2, 13.

  • When they ask and show an interest in it. It won't hurt them to get it done, but, they might be teased for not.

  • i got mine waxed for the first time at 12. im italian so im hairy, and its embarrassing to go to school and be the only girl with hairy legs and bushy eyebrows so once it started to matter, i started waxing and shaving.

  • I'd have to see when she wants to do it. No younger than 12 I would think. We'll see when we get there.
