  • Myositis is just inflammation of muscles while fibromyalgia is a blanket term for a number of signs and symptoms including idiopathic pain, depression, specific tender points, sleep issues, and a host of other things. Myositis can be treated and from what I understand isn't usually long term, typically once someone has fibro they will always have it and will have to adjust their lifestyle accordingly. Either way, taking care of your body is needed.
