  • Well its important to do something personal more than costly. What things are really important to you both? What is something he has always wanted to do (in bed or out) that you haven't done yet? Just make sure that you both have a wonderful anniversary and take time to look back on the years and rekindle that flame. Even if it isn't at the nicest restaurant in town.

  • We're about to celebrate our 13th anniversary in a few weeks. We're staying at Red Rock Resort for the night. I got us a great room, dinner and movie tickets for $150. Check with different resorts or hotels in your area. Many have great couples packages for good prices, even great champagne and spa packages for under $200 here in Las Vegas. When you book far in advance, the prices are even better.

  • How about going away for the weekend or, even just one night in a special hotel or even at home (save $). Plan a nice dinner out and then maybe go dancing or just go home and put on some music and dance at home. Then whatever else you like. Get up in the morning and go out to breakfast. Spend the day together and so on...

Just the two of you spending time together. No electronics allowed (just the cell in case of an emergency).

Start saving money now, say put away $10.00 a week. Hide it in a special place. Surprise your husband.

Make arrangements for someone to watch your kids for free (maybe return the favor).

    Enjoy yourselves.

  • I would call a travel agency & go to a place he has always wanted to go.
