Inducing labor!!! Help! :)

Any good ideas on how to induce labor that maybe I haven't heard yet???!!

  • Mopping the floors. My aunt did it, her daughter (my cousin) did it. My cousin had two (very short labors) doing this. Lucky? I don't know. I had twins and was induced due to pre-eclampsia (sp).

  • I actually went into labor when I lifted some pretty heavy grocery bags up two flights of stairs. However, going into labor is a natural process.

  • pressure points in your hands between the thumb and the forefinger....I swear it worked for me. I went in the hospital within 24 hours.

  • My favorite is: unplug the phones, email, etc, and plug in lots of distraction.

  • castor oil- the odorless, tasteless are best my midwife had me mix 4oz with a cup of oj and a scoop of vanilla ice cream or try walking and scrubing the floors with a hand brush on your hands and knees i did all of these and had my baby 2 weeks early. But my water broke, I had a slow leak and was 2cm dialted when it was suggested to take the castor oil mixture we just wanted to progress labor a little further
