  • I think pretty much everybody does...
I stopped talking to my best friend when I had my first son at 19. We didn't talk again until she started having kids.
Life changes when you become a parent and single life activities don't fit in anymore.

  • Lose THEIR friends? Nope. We were all having babies and had plenty in common.

  • I lost most of my drinking buddies, but there is no big loss. I still see them when I get a night out and it's like a mini vacation. I didn't lose my real friends, but I don't get to talk to them or see them near as often as i'd like. I'm thankful to grow up in a Facebook age. I was 26 when I had my first child though and a lot of my friends had kids.

  • Yes, I lost my bff from high school. We are nice to each other if we see each other in town but other than that I dont go out of my way.

  • Nope. My friends all had kids by the time I had mine. I have however lost touch with my very busy family b/c we don't like to go to a lot of get together's.

  • We were an Air force family and all us wives were having babies at the same time. We were all close friends because of having babies and because our husbands were gone so much. So, no, I didn't lose any friends. And my old friends back home were becoming wives and Moms too. It was great! I miss tnose days!

  • Not really. Still like occasionally hanging with my non-mom friends. What can I say? Sometimes I do not want to talk about my son .lol
