I still rock my 16 month old daughter to sleep at night. Some nights, if she is restless, i put her in her crib with some books, while I am still in the room and she falls asleep on her own. Any other ideas?

I don't want to do the CIO method. Any other ideas please? Thank you!!

  • Classical music worked for my oldest son. Nature sounds worked and lullabyes.

  • i know i'm going to get jumped on for this one but...cartoons worked for us. like imo sometimes its just the lesser of two evils to let them stay up later than normal to watch tv than to have that asswhipping sort of know what i mean? if i'm too stressed to deal, i'll do the cartoon thing. keeps em in bed.
