I'm on disability for my lung disease. My Boyfriend is disabled as well. We are moving in together. He has a house..

and I'm moving in with my son. For those who are disabled, how does this affect disability or does it not matter because of both of our incomes? I'm just confused on the matter. I'm not on SSI, just straight medical disability.

Thank you.

  • I don't think where you live matters with a medical disability. That benefit doesn't income eligibility limit so i don't think it matters where you live or who you live with.

  • I agree with PP, your RSDI does not lessen if your household income goes up. it would only affect SSI.
